My road trip in 2016 covered the length and breadth of Namibia. A land of contrasts. Horizon vanishing roads perfectly balanced with voluminous vast skies that are punctuated with out-of -this world-cloud formations. Awestruck by the wonders of Deadvlei as the light hit the sands at dawn. Followed by the eeriness of the bleached out dis-used diamond mines which I felt compelled to story tell in B&W. Both in complete contrast to the warmth of my final chapter, watching the sun set over the Quiver Forest. My personal highlight was camping in the silence under the stars of the Milky Way at Sesreim Camp inside the National Park, in anticipation of climbing the Soussuvlei dunes at sunrise.
